在自由市場毫無作為的湖人，終於有所收穫，據《雅虎體育》消息，湖人即將從溜馬交易得到希伯特（Roy Hibbert），送出幾個次輪簽和海外球員的簽約權。

《今日美國》指出，溜馬已經同意將希伯特交易至湖人，但雙方的具體交易方案仍然沒有最終確定，他們還在就一些細節展開商談。由於湖人有足夠的薪資空間吃下希伯特1550萬美元的年薪，預計他們會送給溜馬部分現金以及未來的選秀權。如果溜馬想要喬丹-希爾（Jordan Hill），湖人也可以用先簽後換的方式。

對溜馬而言，218公分的希伯特早已不在他們的計畫之內，下賽季將會讓他打替補，在他執行價值1550萬美元的球員選項後，球隊就嘗試著通過交易將他送走。

據悉希伯特的合約還有230萬左右的交易保證金（合同15%），這筆錢溜馬來交，不過最終會算在湖人的薪資裡。

鎖定的球星都不願加盟，對湖人而言，他們總算是得到了一名可用之人，補強球隊最薄弱的中鋒，同時這不影響明年夏天的操作空間。
